Bob Warnicke Race- MONDAY JULY 15.

Hodag BMX Club Hosts Scholarship Race Monday July 15.

On Monday July 15, the Hodag BMX Club will host a Warnicke Scholarship
Race, with Registration from 6-7PM and Races following shortly
thereafter.  The Bob Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to
assist students and their families in meeting the costs of
undergraduate college education, trade school, etc. USA BMX/BMX Canada
members who have a current USA BMX/BMX Canada license or Track
Operators/Officials who participate in BMX racing events sanctioned by
USA BMX/BMX Canada are eligible to apply.  Last year the Scholarship
Committee awarded a total of $27,000 dividend among twenty individual
recipients.  This will be the second year the Hodag BMX Club has
hosted a race in the Warnicke Scholarship series.

Similar to the Race for Life charity race, the Warnicke Scholarship
does not require a membership with the USA BMX to race.  It is
therefore a great opportunity to try out the sport.  The $10 racing
fee goes straight to the scholarship program.  The Hodag BMX club
operates and maintains a race-quality BMX track at 995 Lynne Street in
Rhinelander that is free and open to the public. Apart from charity
races such as the Warnicke, races and other sanctioned events require
membership with USA BMX, with discounts given to first-time members
and also family members. More details on the summer race schedule can
be found at
www.hodagbmxclub.com/ and on the club Facebook page

HOPE TO SEE LOTS OF NEW RIDERS!!
